BACKGROUND:

The City contracts with Allen, Norton, and Blue, P.A. to provide general advice and representation on labor and employment matters. This amendment will add the necessary funds to pay invoices for open claims currently in litigation.

 

FINDINGS AND CONCLUSIONS:

The additional funds will pay for invoices through March 2025.

 

FISCAL IMPACT:

An accompanying budget resolution is provided on the consent portion of the agenda and appropriates funds to expenditure account 001-015-015-513-51-31020.

 

PROCUREMENT REVIEW:

The amendment has been reviewed and approved for compliance with the City’s Procurement Policy.

 

LEGAL REVIEW:

The amendment will be reviewed and approved for form and legality by the City Attorney, William E. Sexton.
