BACKGROUND:
Staff seeks approval to sell Surplus Parcel #2848-001-002 which is 0.22 acres located in the 500 block of SW 7th Avenue to Aashka and Rose Group, LLC at the current market value price of $14,981. The parcel is 64’ x 152’ or 9,728 square feet. The Broker’s Opinion of Value is based on recent similar sales in the area.
FINDINGS AND CONCLUSIONS:
Staff has reviewed the proposed sale and supports the transaction subject to the City Council’s approval. Staff recommends approval.
FISCAL IMPACT:
The revenue generated from the sale will be deposited in account #001-364-000-000-16-36429.
PROCUREMENT REVIEW:
The Contract for Sale and Purchase has been reviewed by the Procurement and Contracting Officer for compliance with the City’s policy.
LEGAL REVIEW:
This Contract for Sale and Purchase has been reviewed and approved for form and legality by City Attorney, William E. Sexton.
