BACKGROUND:
The City of Ocala utilizes SECO Energy to provide pole lighting services to the Fore Ranch subdivision. SECO Energy is the franchised utility provider for this region.
FINDINGS AND CONCLUSIONS:
SECO is the sole utility provider for the Fore Ranch subdivision, for which the City of Ocala is responsible for providing pole lighting services. During Fiscal Year 2025-26, expenditures are projected to be approximately $84,000.
FISCAL IMPACT:
Fiscal Year 2025-26 funds are budgeted in account number 001-099-999-513-81-43010.
