Continued Review of Public Artist Roster Applicants

BACKGROUND:
On August 5, OMAC met and discussed scoring approach and revisiting select artists. Members agreed to have more meetings to review and complete scoring in time for contacting accepted artists in October. September 2 and 3 were chosen via email communication.
Approved artists will remain on the list for 5 years, until the next open call-where artists can reapply with updates or not renew. Artists can request removal from the roster at any time in writing. Unsuccessful applicants may appeal the decision. We comply with all local, state, and federal laws and regulations concerning civil and human rights.
FINDINGS AND CONCLUSIONS:
Staff and OMAC members will discuss scored artists.
