BACKGROUND:
Staff requests the partial release of a utility easement granted to the City of Ocala by Cradle Holdings, Inc. dba Winding Oaks Farm as recorded in Marion County Official Records Book 6890, Page 1001 (please see the attached release map for location clarification). The facilities installed within that portion of the easement area being released have been abandoned and removed.
FINDINGS AND CONCLUSIONS:
City Staff has no current or future use for that portion of the easement area being released. Staff recommends approval.
