BACKGROUND:
As the fiber optic network continues to grow, Ocala Fiber Network (OFN) has had an ongoing need for a fiber design solution to develop a more specialized platform to meet the evolving needs of modern telecommunications infrastructure.
As a first step in addressing this need, City Council approved a five-year cooperative purchasing agreement with GeoGraph Technologies, LLC (the "Original Agreement") for fiber network design software and related services. Professional services to be rendered by Geograph Technologies under the agreement include data conversion, data enrichment, and data migration services necessary for the enrichment and conversion of the City's ArcFM-based telecom GIS data into a CrescentLink-compatible geodatabase. This project will modernize the City's fiber network management platform, improve connectivity modeling accuracy, and support future operational and expansion needs.
FINDINGS AND CONCLUSIONS:
In collaboration with OFN, Geograph's Professional Services Team assessed OFN's existing data and prepared a Statement of Work tailored for the specific needs of this project. Geograph's Statement of Work and proposed deliverables align with OFN's project objectives.
