BACKGROUND:
The Board of Trustees of the Ocala General Employees’ Retirement System is comprised of five members: two general employees elected by a majority of the membership and three residents of the City whom the City Council appoints. Each serves a three-year term and may be reappointed.
FINDINGS AND CONCLUSIONS:
In April 2025, nominations were requested to fill a vacancy that was created following the resignation of former Trustee Tom Casey. Hope Maynard was nominated by her peers and accepted.
The General Employees’ Retirement Board recommends approval of this appointment.
