BACKGROUND:
The Planning and Zoning Commission is designated as the local planning agency, empowered to perform all duties and activities set forth in F.S. 163.3161 - 163.3211, and is composed of seven members.
With the adoption of Ordinance 2024-18 at the February 19, 2024, City Council meeting, the term length of a Planning & Zoning Commission member was adjusted from three years to four years. Members appointed after this date have been appointed to three-year terms, and this agenda item addresses that issue.
Following approval of this item, the terms for current Planning & Zoning Commission members will be:

• Daniel London - 03/01/24 - 03/01/28
• Tucker Branson - 03/01/25 - 03/01/29
• Kevin Lopez - 03/01/25 - 03/01/29
