BACKGROUND:
On June 22, 2022, the City's Community Programs Division executed a contract to perform housing rehabilitation of property located at 3808 NE 19th Street Circle, in the amount of $10,765. On June 22, 2023, Community Programs executed a Mortgage Note Modification Agreement in the amount of $23,000 for additional rehabilitation work at the stated property.
FINDINGS AND CONCLUSIONS:
On May 13, 2026, Community Programs received a check for the balance of the deferred mortgage in the amount of $20,867.56. Staff recommends that the amount be accepted via the proposed budget resolution and added to the Fiscal Year 2025-26 Community Development Block Grant and State Housing Initiative Program grant budgets, to further assist low-income families with approved housing rehabilitation activities.
