BACKGROUND:
At the Ocala City Council meeting held April 19, 2022, the council appointed Peter Lee as interim city manager. At the council meeting held August 16, 2022, Council Member Mansfield stated that he would like the council to remove the term “interim” and appoint Peter Lee as city manager. In response, Council Member Musleh stated that he supported putting the consideration to appoint Peter Lee as city manager on the September 6, 2022 council agenda.
