BACKGROUND:
Staff requests the release of a Temporary Construction Easement that was recorded in 2012. The language in the easement document terminated the easement two years after the start of construction in 2012. The title company of the current property owner is requesting a recordable termination of easement to formally ensure there are no encumbrances affecting the property.
FINDINGS AND CONCLUSIONS:
The release of the Temporary Construction Easement will not affect any City facilities or current or future projects. Staff recommends approval.

The Release of Temporary Easement has been reviewed by the Procurement and Contracting Officer in compliance with the City’s policies.
LEGAL REVIEW:
The Release of Temporary Easement has been reviewed and approved for form and legality by City Attorney, William E. Sexton.
