BACKGROUND:

On or about December 1, 2022, the City’s Community Development Services (CDS) Department received a request for assistance with housing rehabilitation from an extremely low-income family. On April 1, 2024, the City issued Invitation to Bid (ITB) No. CDS/240232 for residential rehabilitation services for the Robinson property.  Responses were received from three contractors and Florida Home Contractors, Inc of Salt Springs Florida was found to be the lowest responsive bidder, with a bid of $90,740.00. This project will be funded by the City’s State Housing Initiative Program (SHIP) Grant. Staff recommends approval.
