BACKGROUND:

The Florida Department of Corrections, Office of the Inspector General has requested surplus vehicle donations due to budget constraints in the Investigators and Law Enforcement Inspectors Division in Marion County.

 

FINDINGS AND CONCLUSIONS:

The surplus donation will assist the Florida Department of Corrections by ensuring the inspectors have the equipment necessary to complete their duties.  The two vehicles specified below are no longer suitable for frontline use, and staff recommends proceeding with this donation.
