Since 2010, the School Board of Marion County, Florida (MCSB) has permitted the City of Ocala to utilize school buses for Recreation and Parks Department summer program transportation needs.
For Summer 2022, the City will rent a total of three, 83-passenger buses commencing June 1, 2022 and ending July 29, 2022. The rental cost for the buses is $150 per month, per bus.
The City is responsible for providing properly licensed drivers for the buses. Seasonal summer camp staff who have the proper credentials are hired for this purpose.
