BACKGROUND:
On April 19, 2022, the City Council voted unanimously to appoint Peter Lee Interim City Manager. An employment agreement was negotiated by council person Ire Bethea and Mr. Lee.
FINDINGS AND CONCLUSIONS:
The terms of the employment agreement negotiated between the parties is the same as previous Interim City Manager employment agreements.
FISCAL IMPACT:
The interim city manager salary and benefit costs are accounted for in the CMO budget.
PROCUREMENT REVIEW:
N/A
LEGAL REVIEW:
The agreement was drafted by the City Attorney.
ALTERNATIVE:
Don’t approve the employment agreement.
