BACKGROUND:

The proposed agreement aims to ensure the proper functioning and upkeep of vital components of the water and wastewater system, which is essential for the efficient and reliable operation of the City’s water and wastewater infrastructure. The maintenance services will include regular inspections, cleaning, repair, and replacement as necessary to maintain optimal performance.

FINDINGS AND CONCLUSIONS:

R&M Service Solutions LLC (R&M) was the successful competitive bidder with the City of Tarpon Springs for small to mid-sized underground utility projects and was awarded a contract on May 7, 2024. The Water Resources Department would like to piggyback on the contract between the City of Tarpon Springs and R&M. The agreement begins on October 16, 2024, and will terminate on May 6, 2027. This agreement may be renewed for up to two additional, one-year periods.

FISCAL IMPACT:

Funding for the current year's expenses under this agreement has been budgeted in Fiscal Year 2024-25 under account string 455-030-300-535-53-46010, Contract No. WRS/241061.

Funds will be budgeted for future fiscal years throughout the remaining term of this agreement.
