BACKGROUND:
The Ocala Historic Preservation Advisory Board oversees the City's historic resources, advises City Council and City departments on matters related to these resources, and manages Certificates of Appropriateness for properties located within the Tuscawilla Park and Ocala Historic Districts.
The board consists of nine members. The term of board member Thomas McCullough expired on March 1, 2026, and he has applied for reappointment to a new three-year term ending on March 1, 2029. In the past year, there have been 10 board meetings, and Mr. McCullough has been present at all of them. There were no other applications.
