BACKGROUND:
The Ocala Historic Preservation Advisory Committee (OHPAB) oversees the City's historic resources, advises City Council and City departments on matters related to these resources, and manages Certificates of Appropriateness for properties located within the Tuscawilla Park and Ocala Historic Districts. It consists of nine members.
The term of current board member Jane Cosand expired on March 1, 2026, and she has submitted an application for reappointment to a new three-year term ending on March 1, 2029. For the previous year, OHPAB held 11 meetings, of which Ms. Cosand was present for nine and excused for two. There were no other applicants.
