body

BACKGROUND:

The flooring at City Hall has experienced significant wear and deterioration due to the age of the existing materials and the high volume of daily foot traffic throughout the facility. Updating the flooring will improve City Hall's overall appearance, functionality, and safety while providing a more professional and welcoming environment for employees, residents, and visitors.

FINDINGS AND CONCLUSIONS:

On September 1, 2026, the City released an Invitation to Bid (ITB) No. FAC/261122 for installation of flooring needed for City Hall.  The City received two competitive bids, and Exclusive Surfaces, Inc. was the lowest and most responsive bidder.  The proposed project will include demolition, removal of the existing floor, and installation of new flooring as required.
