BACKGROUND:
The Community Redevelopment Area (CRA) Agency and City Council adopted resolutions on February 7, 2017, to establish the East Ocala Redevelopment Advisory Committee, and nine members were appointed. The CRA Agency and City Council adopted resolutions on June 21, 2022, to reduce the East Ocala Redevelopment Advisory Committee to seven members. At this time, the staff is proposing that the CRA Agency and City Council reappoint John Gamache to a new term expiring on March 1, 2027, and appoint Ronnie Santana Jr. to an unexpired term ending on March 1, 2025.
FINDINGS AND CONCLUSIONS:
Members of the East Ocala Redevelopment Advisory Committee are East Ocala property owners and representatives of East Ocala organizations. East Ocala Redevelopment Advisory Committee members shall serve four-year terms and may be reappointed.
