BACKGROUND:
The Community Redevelopment Area (CRA) Agency and City Council adopted resolutions on April 18, 2017, to establish the Downtown Ocala Redevelopment Advisory Committee and seven members were appointed. At this time, staff is proposing that the CRA Agency and City Council appoint Kendall Drake for a term expiring on March 1, 2027, and appoint Rachel Laxton to an unexpired term ending on March 1, 2025.
FINDINGS AND CONCLUSIONS:
Members of the Downtown Ocala Redevelopment Advisory Committee are downtown property owners and representatives of Downtown Ocala organizations. Downtown Ocala Redevelopment Advisory Committee members shall serve four-year terms and may be reappointed.
