BACKGROUND:
The Ocala International Airport ground lease being transferred was originally executed with RLR Investments, LLC in 2010; then transferred to Little Eagle Aviation, LLC in 2011; then transferred to JRA Aviation in 2013. JRA Aviation now desires to assign the lease to OH, LLC.
The transfer will occur on or after July 3, 2024.
FINDINGS AND CONCLUSIONS:
Original lease allows for the transfer and assignment of the ground lease.
• JRA is in good standing.
• No other changes to the lease are proposed.
• Staff recommends approval of the request of assignment.
FISCAL IMPACT:
None.
PROCUREMENT REVIEW:
This Agreement has been reviewed by the Contracting Officer in compliance with City policy.
LEGAL REVIEW:
This Agreement will be reviewed and approved for form and legality by City Attorney, William E. Sexton.
