BACKGROUND: RTG Ocala Properties LLC, is the developer of a three-lot commercial subdivision with shopping center zoning on 7.65 acres. The plat includes the Rooms to Go parcel and two additional lots. The property is being redeveloped after the demolition of the old Toys R’ US store. Site plan approval will be required for Lots 2 and 3.
An ingress/egress easement dedicated by the plat will provide Lots 2 and 3 access. Notes are provided on the plat to address possible future cross-access with properties to the north and south of the subdivision.
All infrastructure within the property to be platted will be maintained by the developer. The Planning and Zoning Commission recommended approval of Case No. SUB22-44870 (final plat) on August 14, 2023.
FINDINGS AND CONCLUSIONS: An updated title opinion is required before the plat is recorded. Access driveways for Lots 2 and 3 will be determined at the time of site plan submittal.
