BACKGROUND:
Staff seeks approval to sell surplus parcel #22525-001-00 which is 0.14 acres to Aashka and Rose Group, LLC at the current market value price of $9,164. The parcel is 58’ x 105’ or 6,090 square feet. The Broker’s Opinion of Value is based on recent similar sales in the area.
FINDINGS AND CONCLUSIONS:
Staff has reviewed the proposed sale and supports the transaction subject to the City Council’s approval. Staff recommends approval.
FISCAL IMPACT:
The revenue generated from the sale will be deposited in account #001-364-000-000-16-36429.
PROCUREMENT REVIEW:
The Contract for Sale and Purchase has been reviewed by the Procurement and Contracting Officer for compliance with the City’s policy.
LEGAL REVIEW:
This Contract for Sale and Purchase has been reviewed and approved for form and legality by City Attorney, William E. Sexton.
