BACKGROUND:
The parcels are located on SW 60th Avenue adjacent to the Ocala Airport. The three parcels combined total 3.03 acres. The most recent appraisal dated 3-15-2021 valued the parcels at $250,000. A new appraisal has been ordered. Ocala Aviation has an interest in acquiring the three parcels to develop a dormitory to house aviation students; however, any interested party can bid on parcels added to the Surplus List. FINDINGS AND CONCLUSIONS:
The parcels have been reviewed by all departments and there are no current or future uses planned for the parcels. Staff recommends approval.
