BACKGROUND:
At the end of Fiscal Year 2024-25, the City's Community Paramedic Program with Avent Health had funds remaining at the City's fiscal year-end. Ocala Fire Rescue has requested re-appropriation of unused grant funds for the Community Paramedic Program. Additionally, two other grants require amendments to appropriately document revenue received in advance of the grant expenditures being incurred.
FINDINGS AND CONCLUSIONS:
The budget resolution is necessary to bring forward an Ocala Fire Rescue grant not previously appropriated, as well as to appropriately document revenue received in advance of grant expenditures on two other grants.
FISCAL IMPACT:
$235,035 is available and requested for re-appropriation from Fiscal Year 2024-25 to Fiscal Year 2025-26 to complete grant-funded projects that were budgeted in the prior fiscal year.
