BACKGROUND:
Staff requests the release of a utility easement granted to the City of Ocala by Harry T. Mangurian, Jr. and Dorothy J. Mangurian as recorded in Marion County Official Records Book 687, Page 178. The utility easement encumbers Parcels 35512-001-00, 35512-001-01, 35512-001-03, 35512-001-08, 35512-001-09, 35512-001-10, 35512+001-01, 35512-001-04, and 35512-002-00. The facilities installed within the easement area have been abandoned and removed. A release map has been attached for location clarification.
FINDINGS AND CONCLUSIONS:
City Staff has no current or future use for the easement. Staff recommends approval.
