BACKGROUND:
The Hilton has hired SafeParc to provide valet services to the parking garage from the hotel and provide services to the public that are not associated with the Hilton. Guests enter in the back of the Hilton(east of the hotel) near Osceola Avenue from SE Broadway or East Silver Springs. The drivers enter the garage on SE Broadway and exit onto SE Ft. King Street. The Hilton guests are parked in the reserved hotel spaces in the garage.
FINDINGS AND CONCLUSIONS: SafeParc operated the valet service for the City and Ocala Main Street on the square before the pandemic. There were no significant issues after they took over the service in 2019. SafeParc started operating at the Hilton in late 2021 on a trial basis to determine the demand for valet service at the hotel.
