BACKGROUND:
On October 18, 2022, the City released its Invitation to Bid (“ITB”) No. OPD/220349 for the installation of audio-visual equipment at the Ocala Police Department (“OPD”) training auditorium. On November 22, 2022, two (2) proposals were received as summarized below:

FINDINGS AND CONCLUSIONS:
The current equipment in the OPD training auditorium is outdated and this new equipment will greatly enhance the functionality of the auditorium space. Based on the bids received, the lowest bid is offered by Teer Engineering, LLC (“Teer”). Staff recommends award to Teer.
FISCAL IMPACT:
Funds in the amount of $68,504 are budgeted for in account 610-018-856-521-52-52060.
PROCUREMENT REVIEW:
These goods and services were procured in compliance with the City’s Procurement Policy.
LEGAL REVIEW:
This Agreement will be reviewed and approved for form and legality by City Attorney, William E. Sexton.
