BACKGROUND:
On July 19, 2022, the Ocala City Council approved Ordinance 2022-62 amending Future Land Use Element Policy 18.14 to allow a mix of commercial and residential development on 61.39 acres of property located on the east side of SW 60th Avenue, between SW 31st Street and SW 38th Street. The amended policy requires that an avigation easement over the property be granted to the City.
FINDINGS AND CONCLUSIONS:
The avigation easement grant complies with the requirements of Ordinance 2022-62 and should be accepted.
