BACKGROUND:
The remaining Fiscal Year 2024-25 City match for the operation of SunTran, in the amount of $47,222, was carried forward in Budget Resolution 2026-140 into the ¾ Mill Road Improvement Fund.
FINDINGS AND CONCLUSIONS:
To utilize the funds for operating expenses, they must be transferred to the appropriate accounts in the SunTran fund.

BUDGET RESOLUTION 2026-169
A RESOLUTION TO AMEND THE FISCAL YEAR 2025-26 BUDGET TO APPROPRIATE PRIOR YEAR CITY MATCH FUNDS FOR THE OPERATION OF SUNTRAN in the amount of $47,222
WHEREAS, the remaining prior year City match for the operation of SunTran in the amount of $47,222 was carried forward via Budget Resolution 2026-140; and
WHEREAS, to utilize the funding, it needs to be transferred into the SunTran Fund; and
WHEREAS, the funds will support the continued operation of SunTran.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF OCALA, FLORIDA, duly assembled in regular session, that the Fiscal Year 2025-2026 budget be amended as follows:
