BUDGET RESOLUTION 2025-176
A RESOLUTION AMENDING THE FISCAL YEAR 2024-25 BUDGET TO ACCEPT AND APPROPRIATE A COMMUNITY DONATION FOR POLAR PATROL EXPENSES IN THE AMOUNT OF $500
WHEREAS, the designated gift account in the Police Trust Fund was created to deposit revenues received as a result of community donations; and
WHEREAS, the Ocala Police Department received a donation from Verteks Consulting, Inc. in the amount of $500 for Polar Patrol expenses; and
WHEREAS, the utilization of this donation will enhance the Polar Patrol's service to the citizens of the City of Ocala and Marion County.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF OCALA, FLORIDA, duly assembled in regular session, that the Fiscal Year 2024-25 budget be amended as outlined below:
