BACKGROUND:

Early in the construction phase of the Real Time Crime Center, it was determined that engineering plans from the equipment vendor were needed to avoid additional costs and ensure proper construction for equipment installation. The engineering plans will include the equipment layout and all the necessary wiring for the project.

FINDINGS AND CONCLUSIONS:

To avoid delays and additional costs, it is necessary to have the engineering plans prepared to ensure proper construction and appropriate wiring to accommodate the equipment to be installed. Staff recommends approval.

FISCAL IMPACT:

Funds are requested to be transferred from the Infrastructure Sales Surtax Reserve, 120-999-999-521-81-9999, to Sales Surtax-RTCC Equipment, 120-018-858-521-66-64010, to pay for preparation of the engineering plans.
