BACKGROUND:
Florida Department of Emergency Management contacted the City of Ocala, Ocala Fire Rescue to donate two travel trailers. These will be used to provide temporary housing in case of unforeseen circumstances.
FINDINGS AND CONCLUSIONS:
Donating these travel trailers will ensure our firefighters have temporary housing if any of our fire stations become inoperable.

RESOLUTION 2025-3
TO ACCEPT THE DONATION OF TWO TRAVEL TRAILERS FROM THE FLORIDA DIVISION OF EMERGECNY MANAGEMENT
Whereas, the Florida Division Emergency Management contacted the City of Ocala, Ocala Fire Rescue to donate two travel trailers; and
Whereas, Florida Division of Emergency Management will transfer ownership and possession of this equipment to the City of Ocala; and
Whereas, this donation will provide temporary housing due to unforeseen circumstances.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF OCALA, FLORIDA, in regular session duly assembled as follows the City of Ocala, Ocala Fire Rescue shall accept the donation of two travel trailers from the Florida Division of Emergency Management.
