body

BACKGROUND:  In August 2023, the City entered into an agreement with CentralSquare Technologies, LLC to upgrade and migrate to the cloud-permitting software, Community Development, from our current software systems (Trakit and GovSense).  The City must ensure our plan review system (ProjectDox) coordinates with the new software as part of the implementation process.  Staff is proposing to amend our agreement with ProjectDox to add services in the amount of $33,000 to integrate and convert existing workflows to the Community Development software.

FINDINGS AND CONCLUSIONS: The proposed integration and migration project is necessary to ensure coordination between all software systems.

FISCAL IMPACT:  The Reserve for Building Fund, which has an approximate balance of $2,714,236, is designed to support the operating expenses of the Building Division.  The requested item is an appropriate expense for this fund and supports the building function.
