• Request: The purpose of this request is for approval of a State 4COP alcohol permit to allow the sale of beer, wine, and liquor for on-premises consumption for 3100 College Rd Holding, LLLP, dba, Paddock Market. The hours will be 10 a.m. - 2 a.m., Monday - Saturday, and 12 p.m. - 2 a.m., Sunday. (Code of Ordinances Section 6-5 limits the hours and times during which alcoholic and intoxicating beverages may be sold, consumed or served, or permitted to be served or consumed, in any place or on any premises defined as a business establishment as follows: for each day of the week except Sunday, between the hours of 7 a.m. and 2 a.m. the following days. On Sunday, Alcoholic beverages may be sold for consumption on the premises only, between the hours of 11 a.m. and 2 a.m. on Monday; and beer, ale, and wine may be sold in sealed containers for consumption off the premises only, between the hours of 7 a.m. on Sunday and 2 a.m. on Monday.)
• Staff Comments: Comments were requested from Growth Management, Police, and Fire Departments, and legal review by the City Attorney. No comments or objections were received.
FINDINGS AND CONCLUSIONS:
This request is for a provisional location permit, subject to the applicant satisfying the requirements of the City’s Code of Ordinances Section 6-32(d) to obtain their appropriate state-issued license.
Proximity to schools, churches, and daycare centers: None within a 500-foot radius.
Proximity to other Alcohol Beverage Establishments: There are two within a 500-foot radius.
- Mart Food Mart, dba Quik King, 2APS - Beer and wine for sale in sealed containers and for consumption off premises only.
- Walmart #697, 3PS - Beer, Wine, and Liquor; package sales only in sealed containers. No sales by the drink or consumption on premises.
