The Ocala Police Department received a $500 community donation to be utilized for the National Night Out Event.
FINDINGS AND CONCLUSIONS:
The Ocala Police Department seeks authorization to accept and appropriate the donation to support the National Night Out Event.
FISCAL IMPACT:
The $500 donation will be used to purchase items specifically for the National Night Out event. The revenue will be received in 001-366-000-000-16-39451 and expenses applied to 001-018-018-521-52-52010.

BUDGET RESOLUTION 2025-173
A RESOLUTION AMENDING THE FISCAL YEAR 2024-25 BUDGET TO ACCEPT AND APPROPRIATE A COMMUNITY DONATION FOR THE NATIONAL NIGHT OUT EVENT IN THE AMOUNT OF $500
WHEREAS, the designated gift account in the Police Trust Fund was created to deposit revenues received from community donations; and
WHEREAS, the Ocala Police Department received a $500 donation for the National Night Out event; and
WHEREAS, this donation will be used to purchase items for the National Night Out event.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF OCALA, FLORIDA, duly assembled in regular session, that the Fiscal Year 2024-25 budget be amended as outlined below:
