BACKGROUND:
Graffiti Seafood & More is requesting a permit for the sale of beer and wine at 1532 S Pine Ave. (Parcel #28575-010-09).

• Police Presence: There have been 18 calls for service in the last two years, one
criminal in nature. Note: PD staff have indicated no issues in review of this request.
• Reason: Location has not sold alcohol in the past
• Request: 2COP - The purpose of this permit is to allow the sale of beer and wine for on-premise consumption for Graffiti Seafood & More Management, LLC., dba, Graffiti Seafood & More. The hours will be Monday - Sunday from 10 am - 10 pm with the exception of Friday when they will be open until midnight. (Code of Ordinances Section 6-5 limits the hours and times during which alcoholic and intoxicating beverages may be sold, consumed or served, or permitted to be served or consumed, in any place or on any premises defined as a business establishment as follows: for each day of the week except Sunday, between the hours of 7 a.m. and 2 a.m. the following days. On Sunday, Alcoholic beverages may be sold for consumption on the premises only, between the hours of 11 a.m. and 2 a.m. on Monday; and beer, ale, and wine may be sold in sealed containers for consumption off the premises only, between the hours of 7 a.m. on Sunday and 2 a.m. on Monday.)
• Staff requested comments from the Engineering, Growth Management, Police, and Fire Departments and asked for legal review by the City Attorney. None of these departments objected to this request.
FINDINGS AND CONCLUSIONS: This request is for a provisional location permit, subject to the applicant satisfying the requirements of the City’s Code of Ordinances Section 6-32(d) to obtain their appropriate state-issued license.
Proximity to schools, churches, and daycare centers: There are none within the 500-foot radius.
Proximity to other Alcohol Beverage Establishments: One exists within the 500-foot radius.
