BACKGROUND:

On November 17, 2020, City Council approved a two-year contract with Service and Technology Network Solutions, Inc. (“S&T”), Contract No. OFN/200747 (“the Original Agreement”), for the provision of conduit installation services on an as needed basis with an aggregate expenditure amount of $2,800,000.  The initial term of the Original Agreement was effective through November 16, 2022, and provided two (2) optional one-year renewal terms.  On November 17, 2022, City Council approved the first one-year renewal with S&T in the amount of $750,000.

OFN is now seeking approval of the second one-year renewal with S&T for $750,000.  The provision of these services is critical to OFN’s ongoing installation of fiber cables, service drops, and potential storm-damage restoration.
