BACKGROUND:
Utility tractors, with various attachment combinations, provide performance for loading, mowing, and moving debris.
FINDINGS AND CONCLUSIONS:
Fleet recommends the purchase of a John Deere 5105M utility tractor with attachments to replace the existing tractor at the Ocala International Airport. This purchase will utilize the Sourcewell Agricultural Tractors 110719-JDC contract.
FISCAL IMPACT:
$113,763 will be transferred from Airport Reserve for Contingencies to 451-027-602-542-66-64010 for this purchase.

BUDGET RESOLUTION 2023-140
A RESOLUTION AMENDING THE FISCAL YEAR 2022-2023 BUDGET TO TRANSFER FUNDS FROM AIRPORT RESERVE FOR CONTINGENCIES FOR THE PURHCASE OF A JOHN DEERE UTILITY TRACTOR IN THE AMOUNT OF $113,763
WHEREAS, staff recommends the purchase of a replacement utility tractor at Ocala International Airport; and
WHEREAS, the total replacement cost is $113,763; and
WHEREAS, the replacement purchase will utilize the Sourcewell contract; and
WHEREAS, funding is available in the Airport Reserve for Contingencies and will be transferred to 451-027-602-542-66-64010.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF OCALA, FLORIDA, duly assembled in regular session that the FY22-23 budget be amended as indicated below.
