BACKGROUND:
The Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA) and City Council adopted a resolution on April 18, 2017, to establish the Downtown Ocala Redevelopment Subarea Advisory Committee (Advisory Committee), and seven members were appointed. Staff proposes that the CRA and City Council reappoint Ted Schatt for a new term expiring on March 1, 2029.
FINDINGS AND CONCLUSIONS:
Advisory Committee members are property owners and representatives of downtown Ocala organizations. Advisory Committee members shall serve four-year terms and may be reappointed.
Ted Schatt has served on the Advisory Committee since 2017, when the Committee was created for the Downtown Ocala Redevelopment subarea. Please refer to the attached application for further information. Staff recommends approval.
