BACKGROUND:
The Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA) and Ocala City Council adopted Resolution 2017-3 on February 7, 2017, to establish the East Ocala Redevelopment Advisory Committee, and seven members were appointed. Currently, staff is proposing that the CRA Board and Ocala City Council reappoint Karl Kunz and Greg Blair to new terms expiring on March 1, 2029.
FINDINGS AND CONCLUSIONS:
East Ocala Redevelopment Advisory Committee members are East Ocala property owners and representatives of East Ocala organizations. East Ocala Redevelopment Advisory Committee members shall serve four-year terms and may be reappointed.
Karl Kunz has served on the Committee since 2018, and Greg Blair has served on the Committee since 2021. Please refer to the attached applications for further details on the applicants.
This request is also presented in the February 18, 2025, Ocala City Council meeting agenda (consent).
