BACKGROUND:
Staff seeks approval to add a 6.61-acre, city-owned parcel to the City’s surplus property list. The parcel is the unused portion of the old pistol range parcel located west of SW 23rd Avenue. The parcel has been separated and assigned a new parcel number with the intent to present for sale on the City’s surplus property list. The City’s surplus property list is available to the public at: <https://www.ocalafl.gov/government/city-departments-a-h/city-engineer-s-office/real-estate>.
FINDINGS AND CONCLUSIONS:
The parcel has been reviewed by all departments. The City has no current or future uses planned for the parcel.
FISCAL IMPACT:
Potential revenue from a surplus property.
