BACKGROUND:
The term for former board member James Richard expired March 1, 2024, and he did not reapply, creating a vacancy.
The Office of the City Clerk has received three applications from Carol Barber, Mary Taylor, and Bob Witter, to fill this unexpired term ending March 1, 2027.
Council may vote for one applicant to be appointed to fill this vacancy.
The Ocala Historic Preservation Advisory Board is a nine-member board, one additional vacancy remains to be filled by a registered Florida architect. This vacancy is advertised on the City’s website.
