BACKGROUND:
Former board member Erica Urquiola’s term expired March 1, 2024. She did not reapply, creating a vacancy.
Lauren Monahan has applied for consideration of appointment to the Ocala Recreation Commission for an unexpired three-year term ending March 1, 2027.
There were no other applicants.
The vacancy was advertised on the City’s website, and there are three additional vacancies that continue to be advertised. This appointment will allow for a quorum to be present.
