BACKGROUND:
The City of Ocala, as an entitlement community, is required to develop a five- year consolidated plan to be eligible for annual HUD funding. In preparation of the plan, the City should solicit community input as to how HUD funding should be reinvested over the five-year span of the plan.
FINDINGS AND CONCLUSIONS:
A summary of public comments concerning identified needs received on the proposed Five-Year 2024-2028 Consolidated Plan and the Fiscal Year 2024-2025 Annual Action Plan will be provided to the City Council prior to their approval. The summary of public comments will be included in both documents when submitted to HUD on or about August 15, 2024.
